So, what was in your stocking?


I had a tiny Beofeng 2 meter handie and a 53 amp power pack, a beast of a thing - you think its man enough to run the Beofeng though?

i think you may struggle to get the full 2 watts out of that handy emoticon
i bought myself the icom 7000, i always buy the best pressies. been looking at those beofeng handys, the look a bargain so be intrested in what you think of it Al.

Oooooo, Icom 7000, nice radio Paddy. Not worked out how to program the 2m set yet, think head is cabbaged after all the drinking. Power pack does work my Kenwood on full power with no problem though so now looking for an amp - got to really or the pp is wasted! Talking of wasted, lol, am off now for more drink, be glad when its all gone. Hope you having a good one to

I treated myself to an Arc Welder.
I was also given a Vintage Microprocessor Applications Trainer that`s Z-80 based.
I`m thinking some Serious Transformers-style Robots in the new year emoticon
