Bremi BRL500 help again please. drive valve u/s


Hi all.

The drive valve in my amp is not glowing, anyone know how to test to find out if problem is valve or something else.

Help appreciated
If valve i need a direct replacement without any alterations

You could remove one of the other valves to try it, just one though into a dummy load. This is the valve which, is more likely to go first as its more likely to be over driven.

I may have a spare, but the only way to test a valve is with a valve tester or in the unit. emoticon

Thanks for advice. I will see how easy my soldering iron will de solder the top plate off. Spare valves you have???? any for sale??
