Re: HPSD Moxon for 11m - June 2012

Sorry, attempt at humour. It is a great looking antenna and new to me. Hope you get many good years DXing from it.
Cheers.

Re: HPSD Moxon for 11m - June 2012

Hi guys

I can atone to the exceptional performance of the Moxon antenna, I had 1 here that was built by a local ham, and that thing kicked arse!

It out performed my 5el Werner Wulf beam and my 3el Vortex wideband V quad, I had mine at 36ft SWR was 1.3 from 26.500 - 28.500, the directivity, Gain and Front To Back was awesome.

When I pointed it somewhere, that's all I mostly heard in that direction, beautiful quiet antenna too.

worked a lot of Europe and Stateside on it, spewing I got rid of it now, was the best antenna I've ever owned

My moxon is currently grounded at the moment, not so much time for radio these days, but when I do it will be going back up.
