Question about unlocked rigs.


Hi folks just bought a new v6 AT5000 and had to return it as it was faulty and i got a refund so kinda back to square one as regarding getting a new rig .My question is will uk dealers unlock HF rigs from new? i know there are dealers from Greece who will supply a new hf rig fully unlocked .Kinda been put off the cb rigs after buying a new one and it was a lemon .Have to give credit to Radiozing no issues gave me a refund with no hasstle i might have purchased a Stryker 955 from them but no stock .

Yes, well most dealers will unlock a new or s/h radio. I know Ian at Lam was willing to do a TS590 for me and ML have done a mates for him.
Radiozing are very good for customer service, I have dealt with Simon in the past.

Thanks for the reply , its a bit of a mine field regarding rigs as there are so many on the market i know a lot of them have the same boards inside just with slight differences .Regarding Ham stuff i have spent hours looking at different models but a bit unsure whether or not to go down this route i think they might be more reliable in the long run with better components inside .

Ham radios are more expensive but much better radios giving you 100w, better filtering and more bands should you go for or have ham licence - and some bands you dont need one on.
Plenty to listen to when 11m is dead.
But which one? Happy shopping
