CT Net 27.285
Just wondering how it went for any night owls out there , I logged in at 20.07 and logged out around 10pm, managed to RX about 50% of stations on the roll at this time and had some good contacts into Powys and Gwent S.WALES as well as Gloucestershire and Shropshire.
Biggest problem was skip from Italy and Germany for me swamping the signal of Net stations . I think at this time (8>10pm) I was the most southern station in eastern somerset and Manchester the most northern , one thing I did notice all stations seemed to be on a corridor East Wales up through the west side of England , shame not to have been able to contact the other FB stations out there maybe next time.
Nice to hear the mid band ssb being worked.

edit 'cause I dont no my east from west

Re: CT Net 27.285
Quick report on last nights NET , started off badly with CTX965 Jason taking a tumble on the Clee hills and damaging his ribs , so best wishes to him,Stateside was booming in and I think the amount of UK stations calling QSK made things very difficult early on. Highlights were ROY from Corsica island and Fred Alabama (USA) both of which managed to work a few stations on the NET before conditions closed.
I had 33 stations logged as calling in although most of these disappeared before being brought in. Cornwall,East Sussex (FB9993 Simon?) Essex and the Humber bridge were all trying. As conditions improved with stations not even giving a signal meter reading being worked it ended up as a Somerset , South Wales Devon and Dorset mini NET, at one point CTX104,CT9320 and CT87 all named Gary and myself (FB1685) whiskey 1 (FB1968) and FB095 all named Kevin were the only ones active (as 163CT009 Mark made his way to home QTH) which was weird.Knocked it on the head about 02:15am with myself CTX104 and 163CT009 believed to be last men standing.

Re: CT Net 27.285
Just a word...
27.285 is the "Mini-Superbowl"... that is the channel all the "Linearly Challenged" Operators run over here that do not have enough power/over-modulation to play on the Channel 6 Superbowl..
So you gents on that side of the pond may get some AM hetrodyne from that nonsense if you are running SSB
