Re: what make is this rotator

can't say for certain as the pictures are quite small, but it looks like the rotator I have here. The one I have is a Kenpro KR-400, which is a light to medium duty rotator, they do a KR-500 medium to heavy duty, and a KR-600 heavy duty. Kenpro got bought out a long time ago by Yeasu, they still make the same rotators but now just badge them as Yeasu. Unless it has any markings on it to tell you what it is you might have a problem identifying it. From what I know they all look the same, but internally the heavy duty ones have better motors/gearing to take a heavyer antenna.

At a guess you should be able to get any control box from the same series of rotator to turn it if you can get it wired up correctly

Also its a different voltage to your "standard" controller. Probably 5-6 wires.

Looks like a kenpro or yeasu they wire the same on the 24v ac versions. five wires are needed not the rest they are not connected to anything just enable manufacturer to use standard wiring blocks. john193
