Hamsphere

Hi Guys just thought you might like to know about this site.
Its a simulated transceiver which can be used like the real thing. It covers 160 - 6m albeit simulated.
Its free to use either by hams or 11m guys.
Have a look its worth ago on those days were there's no prop.

good luck

Re: Hamsphere

yep,
i like this as a training tool,
good for new Dxers to see whats about on other bands.
however i think you only get a trial period before you have to pay,
its not real but its a very good attempt.

However after your trial it becomes
"Pay to Use"
Not so good, however not expensive.

Re: Hamsphere

Pity that - it used to be free. emoticon

But yes, a very good way for newcomers to get used to operating practice without actually going on the air, and you get simulated fading, QRN and heterodynes too.

The only thing you don't seem to get which sets it apart from the real world are Italians calling 'Oooolaaa' and whistling over the top of interesting contacts...
