RSGB/Technical edition?? book seller on ebay?
are these two the same company/people? I think they are.
Well a few months ago i bought 2 antena books from Technical Edition off of ebay. One book came and the other didnt, anyway we moved house ebay refunded my money and then over a month later the book turns up. These guys didnt answer my emails which is why i got a refund.
The other day i was told my intermediate exam book was out of date as they had the 5th edition out now. So i looked on ebay and found the 5th edition being sold by the same(technical Edition)people as i got my other book order fukked up by... Well i thought i need the book so i bought it now and waited for it to arrive. It came today and i opened it up only to find they had sent me the Intermediate 4th edition which i already have AND which is out of date as the 5th edition is out. The auction said in red writing 5th edition and also had the picture of the new book........ what the !@#$ are these people trying to do?? Fobb me off with an old book to clear old stock or what?? I would of thought these people were a little bit more on the ball, i could run their ebay shop better than them. So now i have to sit around waiting for them to answer my email, if anything like last time they wont reply and i will end up going through a dispute AGAIN..... anyway rant over they have pissed me off twice now and really should run their business a little better

What annoys me most about eBay is the greedy sellers jumping up the postage price to make up for the lower sale price of the goods. Postage is for postage!

Apparently not, going by some of the rates on there. It seems to be used as a source of hidden extra profit for the seller as you suggested.
Oh well, the answer is to be aware of the postage before you bid set your highers bid accordingly.

if your like me you add the postage to the final price before you bid, if something is worth £100 then thats all i pay. If the postage was £70 i would only pay £30 for the item, then if the postage was £10 i would be happy to pay £90 for the item. It all depends how you shop, i dont mind high postage because i just bid less on the auction. either way i only pay what i would for things
