I think the wet and windy weather put a few off, but QSO's made to:

26FB150 - 30 miles
163TM100 - 30 miles
26FB371 - 65 miles
26TM315 - 65 miles

Approx distances.

Also SWL 26FB204

Running QRP on a Superstar 3900 plus A99 this way.

Cheers
Gary

Don't talk to me - I didn't make it. emoticon

Everything loaded up in the car, then I receive orders to the contrary. I am NOT happy. They will pay, somehow...

Will go up tomorrow sometime-more time then, will try a few shouts on AM if anyones about then. Nice to see some of you had more luck than me (and Andy by the looks of it!)
I did hear my old mate 26CI001/p David on 11m though down there in Cornwall, couldnt get back though.

I was getting about S3 - S5 of skip later in the day which knocked-out any more groundwave, but enjoyed the AM again.

Maybe we can use the channel 14 as a fall-back from the 555 when the propagation is poor for some decent groundwave natter?

FB150's Stalker sounded sweet - must get mine out next time!

I'll put a few calls out on Bank Holiday Monday too.

Cheers
Gary

Good idea as a back up freq. Will try anything and everything if T5 is dead and you find yourself up a mountain with a radio going zzzzzzzzzzz! Wasnt ready for it today to be honest, not had time to get a towbar for the car, to hold the pump up mast, to hold the 827, so just used a mobile whip. Did take the A99 with a drive on base but was so quiet didnt stay up there long, maybe better tomorrow.
