Great contact today on 28492, good thing about 11m beams is they work quite well on 11m, with a little tuning
Worked loads of ham radio today, as well as 11m etc. only met excellent and friendly ops, even though I was using lots of watts sometimes to get through pile ups, quite obviously as well
I like my Windom as it is easier on the ear and work best on most of HF, but missing not being able to use top band as I could with the G5

Re: ZD7FT
i made a windom 40 and its superb, worked the faulklands on it monday with 100w, its 25 feet up and doesnt upset the town planning SS.
dont even need a tuner on 21,24,27,28mhz and regularly use it (high SWR) on 50mhz with plenty eu activity. best £10 i ever spent!!
