Ive been flying small aeromodels a few years ago. Ill tell you to avoid cheap plastic gear servos, the plastic gear brokes so easy... As the HITEC servos above, its a carbonite gear, stronger and expensive than normal plastic gear. But, also, you can buy metalic gear servos, more realible and not so much expensive. The more the flexible legs of the spider, the less stress to the servos gear... 73 de Juan nondisclosed_email@example.com (30fb001)Tue, 18 Jan 2011 20:17:18 +0000 Re: Hexapod.https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p16927,from=rss#post16927https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p16927,from=rss#post16927Here, for more Explicit instructions use this: http://www.pololu.com/docs/0J42 it`s more or less the same sort of thing only mine`s about 4 times the size and 10x the power (you work with what you have!). don`t forget though, you MUST set the limits on the servos!!!! else they will rip the robot apart in the blink of an eye, 45 degree movement is all you`ll need on any servo used, more than that and you`ll be crashing into bits nondisclosed_email@example.com (YT2095)Tue, 18 Jan 2011 19:42:11 +0000 Re: Hexapod.https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p16912,from=rss#post16912https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p16912,from=rss#post16912looks like a real fun project awesome!nondisclosed_email@example.com (Matt1977)Mon, 17 Jan 2011 19:26:43 +0000 Re: Hexapod.https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p16904,from=rss#post16904https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p16904,from=rss#post16904They look so cool, Ive got 2 old nitro RC cars out back, maybe time to rip them apartnondisclosed_email@example.com (26FB332)Mon, 17 Jan 2011 15:56:32 +0000 Re: Hexapod.https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p16894,from=rss#post16894https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p16894,from=rss#post16894A word of CAUTION.
