Newbies

I've had an email from a new FB member, he's suggested we should have a newbie section on the forum, for people who know little or nothing about 11 metre freebanding. This is a good idea, there is some experienced radio enthusiasts amoungst us, Paddy, keith and Jim are all very experienced 11 metre band users and it would be good to pass on some of that experience.

So what do you think? How is best to do it? Just create another forum section for newbies to ask questions? Or/and put up some of the basics as sticky topics?

What do you reckon?

Re: Newbies

yes, great idea. we were all new once, and if there is a section for the newcomers they wont be embarrased if they ask what we percieve as a silly question, etc etc.

its got my vote.

yeh good idea, the basics could be made sticky and locked so they dont get cluttered and in the same forum newbs can ask questions and get answers.
