4.118 MHz

every morning about 9-10 o`clock, there`s someone talking on this frequency on USB, I can make out the language if it`s Russian or Italian as I can`t hear them too well.
does anyone know who they are?

it`s not a Broadcast station, and certainly a 2-way radio chat, but it seems to be an odd mode for that freq, and they don`t sound Official or anything.

Likewise - sounds interesting.

Bear in mind it is only the bleddy silly radio amateur lot who use LSB below 10MHz - everyone else uses USB as a matter of course.

It could be fishermen of some description, as I hear them sometimes around that frequency although they don't seem to care too much where they transmit - a bit like another group... emoticon

Were they swearing?? It seems sea-orientated radio operators swear an awful lot on the radio - creases me right up!

[sign in to see URL] this morning. typical all this time on 118, type something and it chages emoticon
right, it seems it was another chat entirely!
the usuals are on 118.

so it seems there a bit of spectrum there that gets used quite a bit emoticon
