MJF Noise Canceler 1025

Anyone have any experience of using these to help address their local QRM ?

They arent cheap, but noise at my QTH (although not extreme) is starting to get on my nerves a bit.

Thanks guys.

Hi Andy. If there is one noise cancellation speaker that is worth the investment it's the " Bhi nes10-2 ". Absolutely brilliant mate, tried and tested on all bands now for the last two years or more and I just would not transmit without it now. These devices, as you imply, are not cheap, but for what they do they are worth far more than you pay. I paid around £90 when they came out first, and I believe you can still get them at around £100 or thereabout. I,ve got a DSP system on my Yaesu ft450 but compared to the little Bhi, it is almost ineffective. I can't vouch for the MFJ version but the Bhi was so impressive that I bought a second one in case of a breakdown ( which hasn't happened yet ). I reckon the Bhi nes10-2 should be built into all transceivers as standard. Go for it.

Hi Andy, Ive the ANC-4 noise canceller, Its very simular to the MFJ one, there not DSP, they work by altering the phsae and amplitude of the noise so as to cancell it out before it gets to your radio, the ANC-4 works very well, ive also got the NES10-2 mk3 version, all in all its not bad, it takes the pops and crackles out, but you wont hear a S-2 signal in S-5 of noise with it, were as the NC-4 will take a S-9 of noise and take it down to a S-1 or so or even remov it, have a look at my video i made about it.
