I got an Anytone last week. very impressed, does all you need to and more.
One thing worth mentioning is 11m is a daylight band, when the summer days are longer it will be fine at night in the hotel as is early in the morning, you might even find alot of your DX will be done from the car during the day.

i'll keep the board updated Colin.......
my interest this time lies in what I can acheive with kit and conditions whilst in the hotels....
The fun for me does not lie in buying the best of everything and having an easy life lol
