Re:back on air!.

Hi all I have decided to come back to DX'ing after many years away, I use to run a couple of Cobra 148 GTL-DX radio's both expanded but that was over 15 years ago.
I now have set up a CB radio from home, radio is a new fully expanded SSB unit linked to a 5/8th wave twig, I have a 70watt Bremi amp ready to go(it's still new in it's box been there since I purchased it way back in 1988 it's never been used!).
Right the CB goes right down way below the super low bands and up to 30MHZ,I understand the 30MHZ slot is the HAM 10M freq but is there any point in having the lower blocks,I have never found anything on there so why add them?.
