Yaesu ft 757 mk II no rx
Hi guys I have a yaesu ft757 which I haven't used for a wile.I recently Got it out due to the conditions on the radio being good.But I noticed the income is very low the sound is there but they might only be on a signal 1 to2.It was fine a few months ago.Tx is still 100w.hope some one can help.thanks William

I`m not saying I can help as I`v never worked on one of these before, but based on the assumption that all radios are basically the same in principal, I`m curious to know if it`s like that (deaf) in All modes?
knowing this can help you lock it down a little better.

Have you tried injecting a signal into the antenna socket either with a sig jenny of a crystal oscillator or even another radio run throufg a anteunator to see if there is even the slightest amount of RX, its a thought that it maybe the tx/rx relay as its a oldish radio and relays only have a finite amount of switching that cane be done before you start having problems with the contacts.
The thing is, is that there are many suggestions of it may be this or that, and ive also added my two pence worth BUT until some tests are done on the radio you really wont get to the bottom of what the fault is.
