Hi Glen,

I searched the internet for this info for you, but couldn't find it.

My solution would be to determine which wire was which, but I'm not sure how many wires there is on that model. So I've assumed its a fairly simple arrangement with 4 wires.

You'll need a method of determining continuity. Say, a multimeter or a simple light and battery.

Attached one end of your multimeter/continuity tester to the braided earth wire.

To find the PTT wire is straight forward as this will make the circuit once pushed and release the circuit when the mic key is let go.

The receive wire is the opposite, so continuity when key is not depressed and broken circuit when it is.

The audio wire will be the one thats left. If I'm honest I'm not sure if this has continuity, but I dont think so.

Sometimes there is another earth wire in addition to the braid, its usually black, but it may be any colour.

And for the VR 9000 see here for the mic wiring information.

being sarcastic wont get you much help anyway. i googled it too when you first posted and couldnt find any information on the microphone not even a wiring diagram.
you cant expect people to know everything even though some like to think they do.
