Re: i have bought an LT-UV3 and an LT-9000

Well the LT-UV3 appears to actually be another radio as the cover of the handbook tells me.Sorry but can't remember the brand and model number at this stage because i got the radio for someone else. The LT-9000 was a big fark up.On the site it states that the radio can be used for either uhf OR vhf but isn't a dual bander.I was asking the guy about the range of the uhf so the moron sends me a radio that only has vhf.I never was talking about vhf at any time.He claims i ordered the vhf radio.I send the radio back (he also gives me wrong address)and he pays to send the uhf radio to me.Will be here today sometime.I am sure the guy is only a dealer and hasn't even got a factory. The name of the company is Bond telecom (http://luiton.en.alibaba.com/).The website is badly put together with a lot of repeats. The LT-UV3 is well put together with a professional look. The freq range is 400 to 480mhz.My friend has a laptop and his brother has a desktop pc.Neither computer would connect to the radio but mine did. That is superficial tho and can happen to any pc.
The LT-9000 would make a great 70cm/2mtr radio OR commercial radio. It wont go out of band at all (unlike most of the icoms).I got both radios as samples and wont be dealing with this guy again. The LT-UV3 is actually a Feidaxin FD880
