Re: 26FB2100 paul
Hi Paul and welcome, I'm not familiar with that radio, the wire idea is good, and there is plenty of resource on the internet. I put a standard Carolina Windom up and its bob-on for 11m, try and run it north south. You won't work local stuff on it though. If you set it as an inverted V you'll compromise DX but it will work better for local contacts
TBH, for 11m I would get a big vertical for starting out, even a cheap 5/8 rod would probably do better than a wire, ann an A99 or Gainmaster have good reviews, but the best vertical is probably the 827, works a treat, and highly recommended. But its massive
The radio should have High channel 12 (EU and US channels), which is channel 52 which should be 27555 USB

Re: 26FB2100 paul
Hi Paul, I did a search and found your radio http://www.rigpix.com/cbfreeband/haminternational_concorde2.htm
It should be mid band channel 12usb for the 27.555 call frequency.
Agree with Dave, a vertical would be handy along side a wire antenna, you can work local and DX on a vertical.
Cheers,
Mike.
Welcome too mate.

Re: 26FB2100 paul
Hi Paul and welcome. Have to agree with the vertical for 11m, a wire or even a beam for dx - if you have the room. Where you from Paul, always nice to know rough locations.
