mixer for multiple rigs


would a simple 4 channel audio mixer plugged in to a few rig's work over a single pair of headphones?

i couldn't think why not ether, so I've got hold of a four channel mixer with slide controls, thinking if theirs something that catches my ear i can quickly slide the other inputs down rather than trying to twiddle knobs in a hurry.

I've also gone with the idea of using an equalizer mixer for sound in and out, picking up one of thees [sign in to see URL] but in 8 channel not the 12 shown.
going to be wanting an army of jack & XLR plugs to sort this out, probably a bag of torroids to.
the EQ idea isn't mine its something i picked up of off an episode of hamnation
