Help needed with astatic 575

Hi all I have recently been given a astatic 575 mic from someone who no longer uses radio but the connector has five holes and my radio has four. I have been told by a few people that the mic is worth keeping so I'm just wondering if it is at all possible to put a four holed connector onto it? If it is does anyone know which wires should go where/colours etc... I would be very grateful for some help with this as I'm keen to test it out
Thanks

Yes, yes and yes.

You must keep this mic, as its, probably the best fist mic yet made.

And, you can fit it to any radio.

What radio do you have? I'll find a wiring diagram for you emoticon

How good are you with a small soldering iron?

I wish someone would give one of those to me!
Had one for many years on my Lincoln, both bought brand new and sold a few years back when I bought my first HF radio. I did get a very good price for them, £160 for the Lincoln and £137 for the mic, mint in the box.
Keep hold of that mic!
