Easter meet
Location is the old school house / now village hall is in a place called Brandside, Aprox 3 miles outside of Buxtion and aprox 500 mtrs ASL... Trust me , its bloody high up!!!
The school has good facilities:
2 big halls / rooms , people can pitch a tent inside if they like!! and the other room for radio!!
Kitchen for brewing up and food etc
Ladies and Gents toilets!!
Shower room
Electricity / power for power packs etc
The school yard which is hard standing
The field for camping and setting up antennas
We are fully 100% good to camp there..
Lots of parking
And there is a phone box right outside the place incase anyones mobile runs out of charge!!!!!!!
As we said, people are welcome to book up for DONATIONS ONLY.. We will sort a raffle for usual wine ,beer, hopefully radio gear if i can scrounge some. and deffo a BBQ. And all we will hope for are donations to help fund raising for a defibrillator for the wifes school , which is DOVE HOLES C of E school in the peak district!!
This will run from Easter Saturday through until Easter Sunday. All are welcome and should be a good gathering of members

GRAND RAFFLE
Hello ladies and Gents!! Today I had some BRILLIANT news and what I would call a big result!!
I received an email from Simon and the guys from RADIOZING offering us a cracking line up of prizes for the Easter weekend bash and have asked us to get them raffled of as best we can to help raise a load of cash for our fundraiser!!
In short, what we want to do is to include everyone in this raffle, it doesn't matter if you cant make the weekend as I am taking Paypal payments for tickets.
When a payment comes in I will personally rip your tickets from a book and write your NAME AND FORUM NAME on the back of the stub in the book,these stubs are the ones that will go into the bucket on the day of the raffle!!
Don't forget to add your forum name to your paypal payment!!!
All tickets WILL be entered and I personally promise this will be run correctly and to the book, WITH NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
RAFFLE TICKETS ARE £1 EACH AND YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY AS YOU LIKE!!!
If you want any tickets and want to pay by Paypal, please make sure you send the money as a gift / friend & family etc so there are no charges.
If you PM me for the Paypal address I will reply as quick as I can and that should sort it.
People coming to the weekend can of course get their tickets there...
You can if you like send cash or cheque direct to me if you dont have a paypal account, PM me for details again!!!
When the prize winners names have been pulled out the bucket and the prizes allocated, I will contact the winner direct and also post up on the forum the results for all to see... I will need your contact & delivery details so RADIOZING can post you your prize directly to you on a next day delivery!!

This is coupled with another forum and local ham /radio / cb clubs ,(who know the score, so dont worry about freebanding hi hi ) so all are welocome...
we are raising a funds for a defibrillator for a local school so there is no fee to attend , its all donations only..
We are going to set up a BBQ / RAFFLE / Anything else we can think of and hope to raise a few quid..

Spent the last hour trying to make a banner, lost the internet, then lost the lot, kicked the dog (not really, but felt like it) I hate computers sometimes

I will have the 11 mtr Moxon built very soon. Should be testing it by next weekend and might take it out for a Portable session.
