Re: Advice On Setup?
I'm unsure of that radio mate as ive no experience with them. President lincoln 2 seems to be the legal radio at the moment but it's £60 more. Most people favour the antron 99 or sirio gain master antenna for good performance.
The power supply seems a bit over kill at 30a. Rg213 coax it the better stuff. Brackets and poles seem ok. Try you local tv arial installer he might be able to supply to save you the postage.
Hope this helps

Re: Advice On Setup?
No worries fella, hope you get sorted soon.
By the way if you look in the transceiver reviews section, there's a review of that radio you've listed.

Re: Advice On Setup?
The anytone5555 / maas dx5000 / k-po dx5000 / intek hr5500 / superstar 6900 / etc etc are all the same radio just a different name.
They are very good for the money, and have a lot of useful features like frequency readout, split frequency operation, ability to have the clarifier set to rx, tx, or rx & tx adjustment, lots of good things about these radio's.
The tx audio is great, and the power output is adjustable so will be fine for a small amp.
You can program the bands to exactly the frequencies you want with software, a cable, and a pc.
Bad points : They are not the best build quality but they are cheap so ....
Sometimes, they can be slightly off frequency from new, but you can adjust them without even taking the case apart (it's done in a 'secret' alignment menu).
Overall you can't go wrong with one of those.
