Re: Radio Software
Hi,
I've used HRD on an old Icom IC-751A and newer Kenwood TS-2000 .... what is it, that you want to know?
Cheers
Ade.

Re: Radio Software
Nothing much atm because i have looked at a fair few videos and messed around with the program (HRDv5) it self.
Maybe what i am looking for that being said,HRDv6 will NOT free to use would it be worth paying for HRDv6 ?
Is there any other software you or anybody else would recommend.

Re: Radio Software
It's all down to your preference really and which modes you use.
Personally, once the novelty of being able to control the radio via my PC had gone, I barely used it ... UNTIL I started with data modes - then it came into it's own - but just for voice operation, I'd rather just use the controls on the radio. YMMV.
HRD v5 did everything I needed, so wouldn't see the need to upgrade - but then again, I'm not sure what the updates are in v6, as I don't use it anymore.
In my opinion, it's a great piece of software and the fact it was (or still is) fee is amazing.
Had it not been free when I used it - would I have paid for it ... yes, I probably would..
