We have a PO box and that gets a fair amount of use, people still, at least at the moment, prefer sending cards by post. I'm not sure why I would have thought email the best option, I suppose a card in the post is something a bit more tangible. nondisclosed_email@example.com (yamanx1)Mon, 16 Mar 2015 11:38:16 +0000 Re: QSL cards, digital or hard copyhttps://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p26561,from=rss#post26561https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p26561,from=rss#post26561I have had a qsl card sent via email that has arrived before I had finished the qso with them, cant beat that!Printed it out and added to an online folder, sorted. On the other hand you just cant beat a proper qsl card delivered weeks later by the postman. I dont send a lot out any more but its still a buzz to get them on the mat, plus if you ever need to prove how many contacts you have had confirmed then a proper card is the only way. Whatever you want really, its up to younondisclosed_email@example.com (Kaosss)Sun, 15 Mar 2015 19:56:13 +0000 QSL cards, digital or hard copyhttps://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p26560,from=rss#post26560https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p26560,from=rss#post26560So in the dim and distant past the only way to QSL was by actually sending a card, usually to a PO box. I am wondering if the Internet has had a big impact on this. Do people still send cards or are they emailed these days? What do FB members prefer?nondisclosed_email@example.com (digitalMaker)Sun, 15 Mar 2015 04:22:11 +0000
