13FB666 will visit Scotland
Hi guys,
I will be on vacation in Scotland for ten days (10th to 20th of September) and I will take a very small, portable CB Radio Station with me.
Albrecht AE6110, Wilson Base-Kit with DV27-long and two 5.000mAh LiPo´s with me.
(Perhaps I will bring a PMR 446 Radio or my Yaesu FT817ND with me as well, I do not know at the Moment, I plan to travel light.)
I will stay one day near Edinburgh and one day on Isle of Skye as well.
The rest of the time I will travel around Scotland counterclockwise with my car and trailer mounted tent.
I plan to get the Radio up and running in the evening as soon as I find a convenient Campsite.
Are there some local groups somewhere? And if so, on which channel?
Do you use the 40 EU or 40 UK Channels?
Do I need to be aware of something special?
