new to group
Hi just joined the group and thought I would introduce myself. My name is Nigel 26fb859 live in Surrey. My current equipment is a TTI TCB 550 4 watts FM CEPT and UK channels and a Anytone AT 5555, the antenna is a 5/8th silver rod mounted about 8m agl only homebase operation at the moment looking at getting set up for mobile and hill topping soon. Must admit that I have not heard a great deal so far I know it is at the wrong end of the cycle but thought I might have heard a little more acticity. As I have been away from CB for so long trying to work out the best place to listen for calls. I used to use a Rotel 240v with a K40 antenna mobile and a silver rod at home back in the late 80's but drifted away best DX back then was from Dorking Surrey to Chatham in Kent using 4 watts FM on a very misty morning in the Autumn. Hope to work some of you soon.

Re: new to group
Hi and welcome, I know that part of the world very well
My wife is from Gillingham and we had our first house in Mill Road.
I used to work at MFJ in Strood and HE Services in Snodland before that.
Now I live in the Shropshire, and been here for 24 years!

Re: new to group
Hi all, I am also new to the forum. I am a fairly seasoned freebander based 15km South of Oxford. I've been a member of a certain DX group for sometime, but have found it all getting a bit too bitchy. So here I am, with a fresh new callsign: UK2220.
I look forward to reading through the forum and hopefully contributing where I can.
73s, Chris.
