Still some good DX to be had out there and some great activations still on the go from unusual DXCC's

Also to look forward to is the EU and shorter distance sporadic E prop which will begin during this month emoticon

Terrible today, actually I think it was my fault. You see I took the afternoon off to spend on the radio. Ended up reading my Kindle! In the shack with the radios on!

We certainly seem to be be on the F2 layer DX back foot. I am sure the sporadic E season will be as fruitful as always but next winter the long DX might be more few and far between.

The Euro skip season is actually my favourite time of year for radio. I also look forward to working Scotland and Ireland again. It would be great to work Donny on the Isle of Lewis from home. We've chatted a couple of times locally and even had an eyeball, but been able to get in on the side when he's in on the skip!

Donnie is always so relaxed on the radio and it feels like you are working a real character when you hear him on.

I do like the sporadic E season as well but feel a greater sense of a achievement on the longer intercontinental skip. You can work the Sporadic E quite easily when it is there and it is starting to warm up as I gather so it won't be long.

I spoke to a guy up in Northern Norway inside the arctic circle last year that was nice. My most northerly contact to date.
