no probs Dave still keen on using 11M and EC just need to be more careful how I go about it. Still feel I need to support all Bands as after all its Radio!!!

Good luck for sunday Tony, fingers crossed for you mate, enjoyed sunday net but had to go back home to light the bbq-was a goodun though! Am sure you`ll let us all know how you got on. Dont know why I couldnt hear Dave on sunday, must be a big hill in between us somewhere, have to go up higher for next time.

Keiths right, thats my trouble with FB nets, I only have a decent Horizontal ant up atm. I have an old SY27 dipole which I'll put up vertical for next weekend, take down one or two ham aerials, 2m & 6m, which I hardly ever use nowdays, for the space emoticon

The other issue with the beam is that Keith is say on the Long Mynd SE and Tony is say NW, which means I cant direct the beam at both stations, beam takes a couple of minutes to go around emoticon Ideal, in fatc excellent for DX work, but crap for local nets and ground wave contact.

get a bigger hamster??? emoticon WHEN i get round to changing antennas at home dave got my old a99 you can have??
my son sussposed to bring a scaff tower back so i can get the old ones down ,& replace the vertical with a siro 827,clean up rotater & 3 eley as spares???
then i mite be inclined to get concrete base done for pump up mast & 4 eley beam etc.

All gone pear shaped here, went up the mountains early on, well 9ish to make a day of it but drank all me coffee and eat all me butties and have come home for food! Was a good morning though, made lots of contacts, might go back later now I`ve eaten.
