Just been on Transmission 1 Website as I am member there also, they are impressed with us by the look of it
http://www.transmission1.co.uk/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=5188

Re: Seems we are famous
No Probs Dave , it makes me feel proud to get such comments from our peers, the majority of good people still outweigh the bad radio people and thats all that matters!!!
You are mostly to be praised for setting us up in the first place, well done!!!
Cheers Tony

Re: Seems we are famous
Sorry Keith should have realised you need to be a TM Member to read this thread
I have pasted thread below for you,
1) "Just listening to a nice civilised network on 27.585 USB, The chairman is Keith 26FB139 down in Shropshire who is doing a fine job Very Happy ,just wish us TM members could have a regular network on a Sunday as it seems to have be backshelved recently & it appears the Foxtrot dx group have less members than us http://tinyurl.com/595ovs so no excuse on our behalf."
2)"I listened in to that too... sounded civilised"
3)"Yeah its good to hear sensible people to talk to"
This was my reply:
Thanks for the good comments guys I was one of those sensible people on Sunday I am a member of FB aswell as TM. (26FB147)
I have let the other members know of your comments via the forum
Thanks
This was Daves reply to them:
"Thanks chaps, good to know you were listening, Keith 139 (A highly experienced 11 meter operataor, like a lot of you) was portable on the long Mynd in Shropshire. He is often portable on the hills in Shropshire, Staffordshire and Worscestershire.. He was there too, hopefully to capture as much of the UK as possible from around the centre of activity for Foxtrot Bravo. Not all FB members could make contact, as they are spread UK, even world, wide but conditions always play a part. We always include and welcome all break stations so please feel free to break. We will always include DX stations as well, we are fortunate because Keith speaks three or more languages and can always communicate one way or another with non English speaking stations, very impressive to hear as well.
All are welcome to join in on Sundays, we usually start around 3pm on 27585, but conditions will vary and sometimes this frequency is very busy etc. watch the web site for details.
TM members are very welcome and it would be good to stretch the network up and down the UK so please join in, or use the Foxtrot Bravo Cluster pages to report spots..
