Anyway on SSB its excellent, outgoing audio is punchy and clear and the receive audio is very nice and soft. If this radio had a compressor built in it would blow away nearly all modern day radios for audio quality on a standard mic. deffo recommend this little baby rather than buy a Magnum S9 for nearly as much moneynondisclosed_email@example.com (topbuzzuk)Mon, 02 Feb 2009 16:44:11 +0000 Re: Kenwood TS-50Shttps://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p4931,from=rss#post4931https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p4931,from=rss#post4931Superb radio, owned a few, only thing i did'nt like was the ott s meter on fm, nothing you can do really unless you have a signal generator & realign the setting for the rx s meter in the menus, as there is no internal VR for the rx meter.Other than that i love this little transceiver & would quite happily pay £200+ for one of these anyday than pay £150+ for a 4MHZ coverage 21 watts output President lincoln. So much more in the trusty TS50 nondisclosed_email@example.com (26FB505)Mon, 05 Jan 2009 00:06:57 +0000 Re: Kenwood TS-50Shttps://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p4276,from=rss#post4276https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p4276,from=rss#post4276GETTING CLASSED AS OLD SKOOL NOW?? very good audio in & out receive very good, power setting just rite to run a external linear, but also do your standard 100watts 8 out of 10nondisclosed_email@example.com (26fb139)Tue, 25 Nov 2008 15:54:57 +0000 Re: Kenwood TS-50Shttps://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p4234,from=rss#post4234https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p4234,from=rss#post4234someone please sell me one of these bad boys. brent 26fb99nondisclosed_email@example.com (26fb99)Thu, 20 Nov 2008 20:52:00 +0000 Kenwood TS-50Shttps://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p4213,from=rss#post4213https://bfreebandingtalktheplanet.runboard.com/p4213,from=rss#post4213Kenwood TS-50S Frequency range: 10-160 m + WARC (0.5-30mhz) Dual VFO's 100 Memories Scanning TF-Set CW Reverse AGC (Slow/Fast) Kenwood AIP RIT 100/50/10 Watts Menu Programming General Coverage Rx (0.5-30 MHz) DDS with "Fuzzy" logic Full or Semi Break-in All Mode Squelch IF Shift 12VDC 20 Amp operation nondisclosed_email@example.com (topbuzzuk)Tue, 18 Nov 2008 23:53:34 +0000
