clee hills dxpedition

i will be up clee hills tomorrow between roughly 6 and 10.
I know it's short notice but i've had the flu all week and did not know if i would make it ! Will call out on the 555 and try to copy some fb members.
With conditions at the moment we will also try the uk and the mid.
My co pilot will be neil (hunchback) and he might have his work cut out because my voice is still a bit dodgy !
Most important piece of kit will be a shovel with the chance of snow !

Re: clee hills dxpedition

right i thought id submit a report me how we did.
The 555 shouts resulted in nought! Varios local contacts made on the uk.
And on the mid block.
Trailermaker brian south wales
Oxman ken gloucster
Aceman ledbury
Colin near minehead
Pipelayer taunton
Brassoman jo market bosworth
And the furthest schnorbitz gary 6 miles south of honiton ! He was nearly in the english channel
There were quite a few others around exeter devon and somerset but i only got names of them.
A lot work on the callsign papa lima but i cant find anything about them on the net! Any body else heard of them!
When we finished we had to strip the ice off the aerial

Sounds like you had a good day out emoticon

Yes, 555 was very quiet, but Devon is pretty good contact I would say from there, well done emoticon
