Hi everyone, just getting back into ham radio and 27 mhz dxing after 20 years of being QRT.
Picking up a Yaesu FT840 tomorrow so will be back on the air soon. 73's from the Isle of Wight.

Picked up my FT840 already modded for general coverage transmit. £250 for the radio, power supply ,antenna tuner and manual and leads. Bargain on ebay .

Yes I couldn't believe I got the lot for £256, had to collect from Eastbourne but well worth the ferry and diesel cost. I just need to sort out a decent antenna,I have a mobile 27 mhz magmount so might give it an airing on a hilltop this weekend.
