Clarifier

Hi guys as a cb er I have no experience of clarifiers. The stryker 955 that I am currently using has two the course clarifier I have got it set to move the display by one so if set on 275550 the course clarifier will move the display to 275551 and so on.The fine clarifier on the other hand has three settings 0.5,1.5 and 2.5 it is set to 1.5 at the moment but I don't really know what I am moving when turning the fine clarifier as the display shows no movement.Do these settings sound about right?. Thanks in advance Andy

Re: Clarifier

the fine clarifier will tune the received frequency not the transmit frequency, some radios have the fine clarifier unlocked to do both TX and RX. The course clarifier(KC shift?)will alter the TX and RX. the fine clarifier is for tuning a received signal with out altering the transmited frequency
