Sadelta Echo Master Plus Problem!
I recently came across a sadelta at a price and condition I couldnt let pass me by.
So.....when the microphone arrived today I pressed the PTT without it plugged in and noticed the modulation meter and TX light didnt work. I know they ususally do even when not plugged into your radio as i had one several years ago. Its wired for the S9 (no echo or bleep will be used for obvious reasons on ssb) and when plugged in and the PTT was depressed the radio power meter needle shot across and when checking on another radio i am definatley sending a carrier but with no modulation. I checked the battery to find a battery in place but i noticed the -ve black wire from the battery end is loose and not soldered to any part of the inside workings of the board.
Does anyone have knowledge of this microphone, can anyone help?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.....cheers Guys
Gary
