January Propagation
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ all the way for 11metres on the first day of the year.
Pretty noisey on other bands, but some DX on the Lower bands.

Really quiet accross the HF bands. Some activity on 80m as usual but mostly big stations that tend to ignore any that cant be heard at 5-9 +20.
11 metres is as dead as a dodo

Seriously though the sunspot cycle has now begun and there will be increasing prop, we hope for the next few years.
Had some contact today into 35, 31 and 30 division. Actually met a freind on air from Austria, 36AT161 John.
2 div have been spotted in Europe and vice versa, so with a bit of luck over the next few days we may be into the states

According to Cluster dk the rest of northern Europe is getting some good conditions into Australia, Thialand and some Pacific islands.
Nothing here yet this morning, quiet (ish) a few vioce bursts but nothing readable.

Worked a bit of southern Europe on sporadic E last few days (That doesnt mean I was off my head on drugs whilst using the radio BTW) , but its deathly quiet at the moment on 11 metres

I dont think we're going to get any skip today, maybe something on the grey line about now for the next hour os so. But really zzzzzzzzzzzzz all day here.
I could hear some 26 division stations from up north for a while on local prop, but thats gone now and they were in conversation and ignored me. I know they could hear me, because one of them mentioned it, but I didnt get their call signs

well at last i hear something on the cobra(homebase) at 03.41am 21 division started coming in and ive been listening all mornin now to divisions, 49, 30, 44, 1 and a few locals 26 calling. not bad on my indoor Boomerang(1/4 wave). next thing will be to get back to them when ive sorted tvi.
