Re: January Propagation

as soon as i sort out my bad earth on the discovery i will get up on the hills, got a few good ones round here. i asked a mate at landrover garage and he said the disco sometimes has earth problems as he has fixed a few that were earthing through the handbrake cable so he suggested runnin a earth strap from transfer box to the body, we will se as soon as i can get underneath it..

anyway i will se what i can hear on the homebase today and have a go back at some

posticon Re: January Propagation

Thanks to Dave 26FB001 and Keith 26FB139 for this friendly contact.
Yesterday the spread was very good with the northern europe.
Some very good reports 5 / 8 to 5 / 9 + in general.

Re: January Propagation

Lots of, what sounds like Russian stations on the lower half of 27 FM, but not much else, yet emoticon

So if you want to order a taxi from Murmansk to the bright lights of St Petersburg, 27287 FM is the place to do it emoticon

No radio on here yet, but Cluster looks fairly quiet, I've just run the propagation forecast software, and it looks quiet at least until Saturday emoticon

Re: January Propagation

Didnt get to work on the radio much on Sunday or Monday. There was quite an opening into Europe on Monday, but IO just got in at the tail with 14, 1 and 30 division.

Today looks quietish when looking on Cluster with some sporadic into Scandinavia.

Re: January Propagation

Hey good news Paddy emoticon Blimin good mics. emoticon

Got in late again tonight, probably be late each night as we're mega busy at work right now, anyway, had some contact with 14, and 21 divisions. It seemed like I was the only operator on the band, I couldnt hear any stations at all. Called anyway, hell why not? And before you know it 21TRC002 John was answering emoticon
