I cannot believe someone actually thinks this CB radio is worth that much money.
So - it has a few extras as compared to a bog-standard cobra, but it is still a CB, complete with very average performance.
I've had a handful of cobra 148GTL DXs and will never get another - for some unexplained reason they fetch way more than they are worth.
In side-by-side comparison tests, the Multimode II outperforms it in both sensitivity and dynamic range, and it has better SSB filter characteristics too - the cobra is way too wide.
£700? The bloke has to be a fool, unless he can forsee other fools paying even more for one of these in the future and has it as an investment.
