That's a great mobile set up. Does the base of the mast go under the car wheel? Like to see a pic of the bottom end of the mast.

Have heard that altering the radials from 90 degrees to 110 degrees optimises low angle radiation on this antenna does anyone know more on this subject ??????

Nice set up there Craig, Did you weld up the Drive on plate yourself ?
As for bending the radials down, As the radials are so short its proberbly not going to affect the actual radiation pattern to much if anything at all, But what it will do is affect the Impedance slighly.
