Sigma & Sirio 4 element yagi beams?
does anyone have any experience with the Sigma 4 element yagi? Just wondering what it is like compared to the Sirio 4 element yagi. Is the build quality any better than the Sirio? Do they work any different than the Sirio?

Re: Sigma & Sirio 4 element yagi beams?
No idea, the Sirio one works pretty good for its size, its light weight as well, so only a TV rotator works fine.
I've no experience of the Sigma one, but I don't advise that seller

Re: Sigma & Sirio 4 element yagi beams?
Hello,
I just bought a ZX 11 (for 11M) beam 3cl mono band at wimo germany.
The beam works very well and I am highly satisfied with this nice tool...
This beam is available also for other bands like 10 M with either 2/3/4 or 5 elements depending on the available space you have...

Re: Sigma & Sirio 4 element yagi beams?
Hello,
ZX was `invented` by Ron eberson back in the 90´s they were designed with a program from ON4UN ( a guy very well known in the community)
It was the first of `heavy duty` beam antennas and they did make the difference those days.
Wimo `bougth` zx/yagi. and since then have heard people complaining about the mechanical construction...it suppose to went down a bit..
Could you do me a favour...
And verify if the elements still are 22mm 1,5mm thick and 18mm 1 mm thick ...
As im actually having a hard time believing things like that as WIMO is a great company with a good reputation.
Thank you and enjoy you beam as many have done !
Regards,
H:

Re: Sigma & Sirio 4 element yagi beams?
Hello,
yes the Elements are still 22mm 1,5mm thick and 18mm 1 mm thick.
The boom has 50mm and I am "still" quite satisfied with this beam.

Re: Sigma & Sirio 4 element yagi beams?
the sirio does perform better also on the sigma coax goes to a splitter box doing away with the pl plug i personally found it hard to swr the sigma and i know i was not the only person to have this issue as for sirio i would recommend john 26 SD 132

Re: Sigma & Sirio 4 element yagi beams?
I don't know anything about the sigma.
I use a syrio 4 ele for portable, I have changed the boom to square and changed the Gamma match to a Hairpin match, my choice to experiment a little and make the boom longer. The antenna is very good to use, light weight, easy to tune, lots of forward watts with 0 return to the radio. I cant fault it.
