Extended Ground Plane (over 1/4 Lambda)
This relatively flat radiant CB antenna can easily be built up with wire and works virtually on all 80 channels, SWR first Slightly shortened course, you can also use it for the 10 m amateur band. The advantage of this antenna is that it makes do with only two radials, with meaningful counterweight (balcony railings) it goes without radials. The antenna has been calculated with a professional antenna program and tested in practice. The shifting of the resonance frequency just works by changing a small piece short antenna cable.
3 = Antenna
1+3 = Radial
Koax RG58 (RG58 und RG213 is 1 pF pro cm)
27,2 MHz: 12 cm
27,0 MHz: 18 cm

Works with Variable Capacitor (the same)
