I wanted the antenna further up on the apex but the guy that helped me out only had a short ladder he though he wouldnt need the triple ladder. 
Looking forward to getting the 4 element up.

First long distance contcat was to gran canaria kinda happy with that contact prop was very dood that day. 
Sometime in the future i will swap out the scaffold pole for a 20 foot pole and have it a bit higher. (gonna need help with that!)

Looking good, as you say height is everything but you can adjust that in time and gran canaria is a good contact of a 1000 miles or so......

made my first contact with a mobile station in the US but nuch qrm on chan and only got partial call sign "2LA" but he got my call sign. he was just pulling into work 08:30 AM
so maybe next time
