moxon 2 element verticaly polarized.
Looking at getting a small beam to work the Flat for DXing ,but for G/WAVE and Net operations could this type of beam be mounted for vertical polarization and would it be worth it over my current super big stick 3 (2). I already have an aluminium push up pole from the old day's which would take the tv rotator (left over from tv dx day's) to about 7M from ground level (approx 5M above van roof)but what length/type of pole would be needed from there up if antenna mounted for vertical polarization .?

Re: moxon 2 element verticaly polarized.
Probably not worth it tbh. The beam is pretty much omni-directional when mounted vertical, not completely but the side rejection isn't very good. If you want vertical for GW and local you'll be better off mounting an 827 or something above the beam on the horizontal.
