New Antenna
Would like some suggestions for a new antenna, currently my vector 4000 has suffers some wind damage to one of the aluminum legs on the cone and has snapped off, Its could be a easy fix but i cant do it my self. (still useing it for the next 2 weeks)
Also have a a99 but less than impressed with the performance.
I still have the 102ft long wire but unable to use that at the moment (been taken down)
So what i am looking for is a decent antenna that will cover 160m/6m or 80m/6m i dont have a price limit but still willing to pay a reasonable price for the right aantenna.
I would like to sell the a99 & the vector 4000 in the next 2 weeks as i am haveing somebody come round to install at least one antenna.

Re: New Antenna
i know that a few of the lads this side of the pond use the sirio 827 on 11mtr and then use it in conjunction with an atu for other bands.
my sirio gainmaster has reasonable receive on 20-80 but not anywhere close to what you would gain from a dipole or a multiband vertical.
Any multiband antenna is going to be a compromise so i would usually suggest a decent vertical or beam for 11mt and a fan dipole cut to each band for 20-80 mtr
