Antenna height vs aerodrome proximity?
Gentlemen, I've been trying to find out about restrictions in antenna height when installed near an aerodrome, but so far noting apart from some american FCC rulings, which obviously aren't valid here.
I live about 1000m from the nearest part of the runway system, same elevation and about 45 degrees off-axis to the line of that nearest runway.
Any ideas how high I can go? I'm looking at an inverted V with the apex at 15m and didn't think this was too much until I assembled the mast and temporarily stood it up... bugger!! Twas higher than the trees!!
I don't give a shyte about planning, I'll deal with that if they find out but I don't wish to fall foul of the airport authorities, whoever they may be.
