Tip for a mobile antenna 80m
Hi,
I am looking for a mobil antenna for 80m with 3/8 mount. Most of them are so very long... So I am looking for a antenna short as possible...
Any tip?

short antennas on 80-86meters are not usually very good. i have a 80m Hustler center loaded antenna at just over 2 meters in length. its not very good on 80m. the best antennas i have heard on 80m are the motorised >>ATAS-120<< and the >>Screwdriver<< antennas. There are few makes of screwdriver antenna on the market from MFJ, Diamond etc.
i tried my Hustler 80 and it wasn't much good for talking Inter G(UK skip). and i'm in the UK

OK, I will look some more around. I was looking at the screwdriver in a dealershop here in Norway, and the price was 500EUR...
