This is a very simple wire dipole, a full wave one is 102' long and half wave, well its 51' long funny enough.
Its resonant on 20m band but with a tuner can be used throughout the HF range.
So far reports have been good, my tuner will not allow me to use it on 11 meters, which is a pain but on other bands the G5RV is working very well.
Its simple to make and providing you've got the space, it doent look obtrusive, in fact you cant hardly see mine as I threaded it through the trees, I'm sure swmbo hasnt even noticed it yet
