What brackets to hold mast on wall?
I need to put my aerial up higher, its going to go on the wall, its a 2 inch alloy scaffolding pole with an A99 on top. I dont need to set it away from the house as the roof on that side doesnt stick out (no gutters) so what sort of brackets would I need? Are there some out there or do I need to make some? I know I need rawl bolts to fix to wall. How have you done yours?

Re: What brackets to hold mast on wall?
i think T & K brackets would do the job, spaced apart nicely they should hold the 20foot alloy pole no problemo

Re: What brackets to hold mast on wall?
Yes T and K brackets, a little tip is to get galv ones, you can buy them from TV aerial people and they're not too expensive see hereTV aerial fixing kit If you get painted ones the paint eventually comes off and you'll end up with rust streaks down the wall. Not popular with wives

Re: What brackets to hold mast on wall?
Thanks, I will get off to Maplins and try them, didnt know if they would be strong enough to hold a 2" mast but reading about them, they will hold one. Try and get it up there this week.
