Re: mobile antenna? i never had to trim my 3000, the swr was out on my discovery but that was down to bad earths not the antenna. if you bend the twig you can buy replacement whips for both 3000 and 4000
ive got these two also, i use the SC5000 on my hightop transit and the DC5000 is sat waiting for when i break the SC5000. I got mine for under a tenner each delivered on ebay, check em out as they work a treat.
